Part 2 of Higlet’s Exclusive report

This week in “The Guild season 4 behind the scenes with Higlet” we delve deep into the running of The Guild Season 4 and find that a helping hand is never far away:

Special thanks to our guest stars today, who worked really hard in front and behind the camera (and to The Guild, of course)!

Did you spot…?

You get bonus points this week if you can spot the references to Dr Horrible, The Two Ronnies and Red Dwarf.

More Higlet…

There will be a brand new installment of Behind the Scene of The Guild Season 4 next Monday. To make sure you don’t miss any of our videos, subscribe to EvilWorldofHiglet on YouTube. Don’t forget you can find HigletFilms on Facebook, follow @worldofhiglet on Twitter – and now @higgymeister has joined the throng!

Too funny! I liked the little Red. And I might have a WilW homage in MR #12 so it will be fun to compare.

Ooh bonus points. “Gazpacho soup” were Rimmer’s dying words in Red Dwarf, and the spork is from Dr Horrible. However I didn’t pick up anything Two Ronnies, other than the Ronniesque word play. But it’s been many many years since I saw them on TV here. Do I get partial credit?

Ding! We have a (partial) winner! Excellent deductions for Red Dwarf and Dr Horrible by Alan, the young Penguin Guy.

Now, for full credit you have to think of which is the funniest, most famous sketch by The Two Ronnies.

And Wil Wheaton in The Masked Roger, huh? Can’t wait to see that!

Actually, The Boy Wonder, aka @higgymeister has just pointed out to me that there is another Dr Horrible reference (I put it in and then forgot it. Doh!). So still 2 more points to find!

Well. I found 4 more potential Dr. Horrible references. Hmmm. What does this say about me? That I see the whole world as a pale reflection of Dr. Horrible’s world? If so, there’s no happy ending, not for me anyway.

    1. Finger in the gazpacho – echoes Dr. H poking the liquified gold bars.

    2. “Billy Boy” – reminds me of “Billy Buddy”

    3. “My name — is Wil.” The cadence echoes “My nemesis — is Captain Hammer.”

    4. “Even the stars lend a helping hand” – “Will you lend a caring hand?”/Caring Hands Homeless Shelter.

Do I get bonus points, or do I get points deducted for every wrong answer?

(This might benefit from a Preview Comment button as I always make typos I don’t see until Preview. To prove my point, here is a tpyo.)

Oh no, I think extra points. 2) and 4) were deliberate but I’m happy to accept your other points and give you the bonus because, let’s face it, we’re all heroes in our own way.
